Our mission is to enable people to become full participants in Canadian society. We help individuals in our community access government programs and resources, such as applications for Pension, Child tax benefits, Employment Insurance, Employment searches, resume writing, and job applications. We assist low-German families with translation services at appointments and family care visits. We also provide a Moms & Tots program aimed at helping women learn to read, write, and speak English. This program provides a free lunch and childcare to break down barriers to success in the program. Women who wish to further their skills can work towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. To date, 60 women have graduated.
